Course Overview
This intensive 3-hour training course bridges the gap between foundational shooting skills and the dynamic realities of law enforcement encounters.
Officers will evolve their mechanics from a basic competency draw to a one-second, subconscious execution under real-world pressure.
The curriculum prioritizes high-performance weapon manipulation, technical recoil management, and professional efficiency around cover to ensure personnel safety and accuracy during high-pressure duty encounters.
Operating at an elite 1:3 instructor-to-student ratio, this course guarantees personalized coaching, immediate diagnostic feedback, and maximum repetitions for every officer.
Course Curriculum
- 01The Professional Retention Draw — Consistency Under Pressure: refine a reliable, efficient one-second draw stroke directly from standard-issue duty retention holsters.
- 02The Professional Retention Draw — Mechanical Efficiency: identify and eliminate unnecessary motion to ensure a smooth and safe weapon presentation.
- 03The Professional Retention Draw — Situational Awareness: maintain visual focus on the environment while developing the muscle memory required for safe weapon deployment.
- 04Grip Mechanics & Recoil Management — Technical Leverage: develop a functional performance grip designed to stabilize the platform and manage recoil under rapid fire.
- 05Grip Mechanics & Recoil Management — Tracking and Reset: monitor sight alignment or optics during sequential firing strings for improved follow-through.
- 06Grip Mechanics & Recoil Management — Range Application: apply grip fundamentals and utilize cover to maintain precise shot placement at varying distances.
- 07Shot Verification & Transitions — Visual Discipline: train the eyes to recognize the appropriate sight picture required for targets at different distances and sizes.
- 08Shot Verification & Transitions — Immediate Assessment: verify shot placement based on visual feedback from the sighting system.
- 09Shot Verification & Transitions — Transition Mechanics: master controlled transitions between multiple points of focus to maintain situational control, including the mechanics of dot recoil and the bump transition.
- 10Tactical Positioning & Cover Fundamentals — Controlled Movement: practice efficient footwork and body mechanics for stable movement into designated shooting positions.
- 11Tactical Positioning & Cover Fundamentals — Utilizing Cover: understand the geometry of cover to maximize protection and maintain effective defensive angles.
- 12Tactical Positioning & Cover Fundamentals — Position Transitions: move safely between points of cover while maintaining proper muzzle discipline and readiness.
