Course Overview
Unlock the single biggest time-saver in action shooting. This intensive, 5-hour advanced course isolates the precise footwork and gun-handling techniques needed to shave seconds off your stage times. This is not a general course; it focuses entirely on a specific skill set for USPSA shooting. At the end of this course, you will receive a customized dry-fire and live-fire training regimen to ensure continuous skill development.

This course is written for: Advanced — USPSA specific. There are no additional prerequisites listed for this course.
Course Curriculum
- 01Explosive Exits: Master the art of shooting on the move and leaving positions early – hard exits (lead foot and cross step), soft exits and drop step.
- 02Controlled Entries: Learn how to prep-step, snap the gun up, and stabilize your sights before your feet even settle. Master the "JJ Step" and the "Sailer Step" to execute aggressive hard entries. Learn to time multi-target engagements during soft entries, and finish dynamically by breaking the shot on a hard target.
- 03Dynamic Angle Entries & Exits: Master precise foot placement, directional stepping, and deceleration control to maintain upper-body shooting stability when entering or exiting positions.

- USPSA approved Pistol
- 3 pistol magazines (single stack pistols should have double)
- Magnet on belt
- USPSA belt and approved holster for your division
- 400 rounds of ammunition
- Notepad and pen/pencil
- Seasonally appropriate clothing suited for strenuous activity on gravel/dirt
- Ear protection (electronic) / Eye protection
- Hydration Lunch and Snacks

This course is physically demanding. Participants will engage in high-intensity movements, including sprints (rapid acceleration), hard stops (sudden deceleration), and leans (sharp body angling).
These activities place significant stress on the knees and lower back. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. If you have any pre-existing injuries or physical concerns, we can modify the curriculum to accommodate your needs.
