Course Overview
This 3-hour Women's Basic Pistol course is intended for the new shooter to become comfortable handling, loading, unloading and shooting a firearm. This course focuses on the fundamentals of shooting so you become confident and proficient in performing proper techniques and creating safe habits. This is a small class focusing on individual attention so we limit the attendance to a maximum of 4 students.

This course is written for: New shooter. There are no additional prerequisites listed for this course.

Equipment List
- Pistol (functional/practical/preferably semiautomatic) .22 Rimfire / 380 ACP / 9mm
- Try before you buy. For a rental fee and ammo, we can supply a .22 caliber Sig Sauer P322 or a Sig Sauer P365 cambered in 380 or 9mm.
- At least 3 pistol magazines (single stack pistols should have double)
- A proper belt affixed holster and magazine pouches that will retain equipment while moving. Participants will need a quality Kydex holster designed for open hip carry.
- Magazine pouches – recommended but not necessary
- 200 rounds of factory ammunition
- Notepad and pen/pencil
- Seasonally appropriate clothing
- Ear protection (electronic preferred) / Eye protection
- Hydration and snacks
